A Word A Day

Words to a writer are like paint to an artist. We use them to create texture, depth and meaning in our stories. Each word has its own shade of meaning, a hue that identifies it as subtly different to other words. I love learning and using ‘newly discovered’ words.

Let’s see what colours we can add to our dictionary?

A is for…

B is for…

C is for …

  • crapulent
  • corrigible
  • contumelious
  • contrarious
  • clinquant
